It's been FAR too long...

Hello blog readers...Pauly here, long time no see, huh?

I'm basically starting this up again to track my new diet/fitness plan. I received some disturbing news when receiving my blood test results...news a 31 year old wasn't quite ready for.

Today, I stand before you at about 215lbs (about 15-20 more pounds than I had been a few months ago). While I'm not fat, it's the most I've weighed in my lifetime (while not being pumped full of creatine and whey protein) which made me a good 215lbs of solid BEAST.

I renewed my membership at LA Fitness, to get back to work. I'll be focused on nothing but cardio for the first 30 days. Bike, treadmill, eliptical and swimming. I'll combine the weights with the cardio after the initial 30 days.

My diet will be changing vastly, as I'll now be the guy in the grocery store looking at the labels on EVERYTHING. Yep. THAT guy.

I'll be back to the doctor for bloodwork in 90 days...in which hopefully, the dieting and extra cardio work will have lowered my #'s.

Here are the #'s
My Sugar is 103. Not bad at all.
My cholesterol is 218. Not good at all.
My HDL (good cholesterol) is 27. Way too low.
My LDL (bad cholesterol) is 149. FAR TOO HIGH.
My triglycerides is 208. A good bit too high.

And...I'm a smoker. Serious consideration is being taken about this.

I'll be back posting on here alot more frequently...to give updates, etc.

I know I can do this. I just didn't think I'd have to at 31.

Life goes on.
